Marie Kathryn Morriss was born in Green City, Missouri, on November 21, 1907, to Frederick Blatchford Morriss and Ida Marie (Bower) Morriss. She had two younger sisters, Pauline (Polly), born in 1910, Helen (born in 1916), and a younger brother, Paul (born in 1913). An older brother, Harold Bower Morriss, died in infancy.
This picture isn't dated, but I would guess it was taken at about 6 months of age.
